Heri ya Krismasi na Mwaka mpya 2016! 日本では日付が変わっちゃいましたが、クリスマスおめでとうございます。今年はどんなクリスマスでしたか？タンザニアへご支援やお祈りをくださり、ありがとうございます。こちらでの初めてのクリスマスは、思い出に残りました…(苦笑)。アドベント最終週、毎朝晩のミサの音を聞きながらクリスマスを楽しみにしていて、22日には病院でクリスマス会があり(職員へのクリスマスギフトがお金で驚きました)、いよいよ始まった24日の夜のカテドラルのミサへ参加していたら…突然嘔気と腹痛に襲われてダッシュで家に戻らなくてはならなくなり、その後は下痢と発熱でトイレとベッドを往復するクリスマス…礼拝も愛餐会も、予定は全部キャンセルになって残念です。安心してください、良くなってきて、今夜の食事会には行けるかな？って感じです。
なんだか洒落たことは何も言えなくなってしまいましたが、看病して秘蔵のみそ汁を飲ませてくれた夫、心配して連絡をくれた大司教区や教会の皆さん…周りの人を通じて「愛されてるなあ」と思えるということは、クリスマスのメッセージを神様から受け取ったことになるのかな、と思っています。みなさんも、ご家族や周りの人と良いクリスマスと新年を！

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to our friends. How was your Christmas day? We sincerely appreciate your support and prayer for Tanzania in this Christmas season. We had our first Christmas in Tanzania, and it was so memorable in a sense…X-0 In past advent weeks, hearing the bells ring and people sing at the cathedral next to our hostel, we’ve been looking forward to joining Christmas celebration. On 22th we had nice Christmas mass and party at our hospital. However, during the night-mass on 24th, I had to rush back to my house because of sudden abdominal pain, diarrhea and nausea…and on 25th, I have stayed in the bedroom most of the time. It was a pity I had to cancel today’s service, and fellowships scheduled for this weekend. Fortunately I’m getting better (so I can write this now☺), and today’s Christmas dinner with my husband and Fathers of Archdiocese is remained for me heart絵文字
In this condition, I cannot say anything smart or stylish for Christmas, but through care of my husband (especially special Japanese soup which works for diarrhea..), Fathers (special Thanks to Fr.Nduwayo Alex), and Pastor Major Hosea Kindi in the church, I could feel ‘I am loved’, and it is the very message from Jesus on Christmas, so it’s not so bad to have this happen today grin絵文字
